Our Story

I run a small breeding program out of my home in Southern Vermont. It took me a long time to decide on a name, but I finally chose “B3” because it represents my two sisters & myself. While I don’t show my dogs, I have carefully selected only dogs from excellent lines to ensure health, temperament, & longevity.

Our dogs are our life partners, & my puppies are all raised as such. The pups have constant engagement & interaction with multiple children & adults, as well as the family cat, from the moment they’re born. My goal is to place these puppies in caring homes where they will be valued, taken care of, & a real part of the family, whatever that family looks like!

Great Danes are incredibly loving, playful, gentle, opinionated, eccentric, amazing dogs! Owning one is always a unique journey. I am happy to speak to any first time owners & share my experience with this amazing breed. I also love to stay in touch with puppy buyers after my pups go to their new homes for (p)updates & progress photos!

Jack - July 26, 2012 - July 14, 2020

My own Great Dane journey began in 2007. I was on a break at work when I spotted him across the street. Quite possibly the most beautiful puppy I’d ever seen. I could tell he was a puppy from his body language, the size of his feet compared to the rest of his body, & his pure excitement about every person that walked by. I walked over immediately & asked if I could say hello. He was a four month old Dane & I was in love immediately.

It was another five years before I brought home my own Dane. Circumstances all lined up favorably & I found a breeder out of Michigan with my perfect little boy. He arrived in the fall of 2012 & we spent the next eight years together. His name was Jack.

Jack was my best friend, my life partner, my confidante, my reason to wake up in the morning, & my reason to get in bed at night. Jack was my heart. In many ways he still is.

Great Danes have a monumental impact on their families, & once you share your life with a Dane you’ll never look back.

I decided to breed Great Danes because of the joy they bring into every interaction. Every person, couple, family, or group that cohabitates with a Dane is better for it. They are indeed gentle giants, but more than that they are expressive, sensitive, loyal; they are truly indispensable.
